Speaking as an active Paleo, I, along with most of my compatriots, would enthusiastically support Ron Paul for president. Firstly, because DR. Paul's views on domestic and international matters are more in line with paleo-conservatism than those of any other candidates. Secondly, DR. Paul does not carry the heavy and hidious baggage of the mainstream candidates, most of whom could not undergo a critical examination of their character and finances.
Paleos do look with suspician on many libertarians
but someone like Dr. Paul would be avidly accepted by them. A breath of fresh air clears out a lot.
