Message: Anybody familiar with the writings of Carl Schmitt, Ernst Junger, or other twentieth century European theoreticians on the right side of things? I'm trying to become acquainted with European conservative thought. Unfortunately, so much isn't translated or it's translated in bits and parts but shows up only in books bashing non-Leftist European thought as fascist or hitlerian. Thoughts, threads, anything would be appreciated.

Message: Several essays on Schmitt, Junger u.s.w. have been published in The Scorpion and they have a couple of them online. Telos has also published stuff on Schmitt. I don't think they have anything on him online but you might be able to find back issues in large libraries.

Message: Paul Gottfried wrote a monograph on Schmitt (in English) which I think is still in print.
