Nouveille Droite in the U.S.? Talking about this phenomenum, the Americans sometimes call it also "european New Right". As a European (but by no means a follower of de Benoist or Mohler!), I'd like to know if there is something like this in the US too. As far as I know, the "New Right" is spreading now in Russia quite successfully and has won some able intellectuals. On the other hand, this movement isn't specifically right, but a mixture of right and left elements. It is also paganistic. Both these qualities can be reasons for America's immunity against the movement. |

Re: Nouveille Droite in the U.S.? It's not a significant tendency in the U.S. although there are a few intellectuals who are interested in it. The paganism is certainly one problem. Another of course is the anti-Americanism. Jim Kalb |
