is patriarchal structure good i find you site interesting I am also workingon the analysis of the social structures and trying ti identify good structures |

Re: is patriarchal structure good Today "patriarchal" is such a broad term that it applies to all societies. So my answer is that if you think human beings are basically OK and don't have to be transformed into something completely different from what they've always been everywhere then you have to say that patriarchal structure is OK. On the other hand if you think that human life has to be totally transformed you have to ask whether the effort will be a success. The attempt's been made, for example in the communist countries, and there it made things much worse than they were before. Why think feminism will do better? Jim Kalb |
